Workshop proposals are now OPEN for MBLGTACC 2020!

October 18, 2019

Since the early 1990s, the bread and butter of MBLGTACC's programming has been its majority student-led workshop sessions. They bring together students from across the Midwest to learn and grow through the knowledge and experiences of their peers and mentors. They're tuned into what's happening around the region, nation, and world. They've become a DIY laboratory for theory and practice, and a forum for ideas new and old.

We're delighted to announce that workshop proposals are now open for the 28th annual Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC). Submit a proposal for your chance to share your knowledge and experience with attendees from across the Midwest.

To propose a workshop today, visit mblgtacc.org/present.

The 28th annual MBLGTACC will take place from Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The theme for the weekend of accessibility, affirmation, community, education, and inclusion is Envisioning a Future Together, and is led by student organizers from Western Michigan University.

Anyone can propose a workshop including students, staff, faculty, community organizers and more. Don't just sit on your unique ideas, projects, strategies, or experiences; share them with others from all corners of the Midwest and propose a workshop today.

Before you propose a workshop, make sure you have all the information you need about accessibility at MBLGTACC 2020, our policies and guidelines, and transportation and lodging while visiting Kalamazoo.

**The deadline for workshop proposals is November 25th, 2019. ** If you have any questions about the conference or registration process, please contact hello@sdginstitute.org. Stay informed about registration, programming, hospitality, and more by signing up to receive periodic emails at mblgtacc.org/2020 and following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC), a program of the Midwest Institute for Sexuality and Gender Diversity, is America's largest and oldest continuously-running conference for queer and trans+ college students.
