Join us in Kalamazoo! Today, we're excited to open early registration for the 28th annual Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC), to be held February 14-16 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and organized by students from Western Michigan University.
MBLGTACC is America's largest and oldest continuously-running conference for queer and trans+ college students. This year, we're hosting it in Kalamazoo, Michigan—which is, indeed, a real place. With cities in Michigan like East Lansing and Ann Arbor bring the first in the United States to pass LGBTQIA+ discrimination protections in the 1970s, it's a welcome return to reopen the discussion of what's to come next. The theme for the weekend of accessibilitry, affirmation, community, education, and inclusion is Envisioning a Future Together.
Reserve your spot today for $85 per person.
MBLGTACC 2020 will feature keynotes, entertainment, workshops, and more. Keynotes and entertainment will be announced over the next few months, and selected workshop sessions will be posted in late January, giving attendees plenty of time to plan-out their conference weekend.
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Kalamazoo, lodging at or near the venue, and meals (except where specifically indicated otherwise, such as the advisor social). Get all the information you need to know about this year's theme, programming, lodging and transportation, accessibility, submitting a workshop proposal, and more at mblgtacc.org/attend.
