You—yes, you—could present at MBLGTACC
October 2, 2018
Since day one, the bread and butter of MBLGTACC's programming has been its majority student-led workshop sessions. They bring together students from across the Midwest to learn and grow through the knowledge and experiences of their peers and mentors. They're tuned into what's happening around the region, nation, and world. They've become a DIY laboratory for theory and practice, and a forum for ideas new and old.
Presenting at MBLGTACC can be an enjoyable, exciting, and rewarding experience. We encourage anyone—students, staff, faculty, community organizers, and others—to consider what knowledge and experiences they can thoughtfully bring to a workshop of attendees, and to then submit a proposal.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Presentation proposals are due by Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11:59 pm CDT. Submissions will be reviewed by a committee comprising students, staff, and advisors. Presenters will be notified of the status of their proposal in early December.
For questions about programming, conference theme, pillars, or on-site inquiries, contact Brad Thomison, the on-site advisor and LGBTQ Coordinator at Wichita State University. For any issues or errors using the form itself, contact the webmaster and describe your issue as thoroughly as possible.
UPDATE: Proposals closed on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11:59 pm CST. Presenters will be notified of the status of their proposal in early-mid December.
