We’ve updated the MBLGTACC website with registration cost information essential to planning your attendance at the upcoming Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference, to be held February 15-17, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas. The registration costs are as follows:
- $75 per person when registering on or before December 31, 2018
- $85 per person when registering from January 1 - February 1, 2019
- $100 per person when registering on-site at the conference.
Worried you can’t pay prior to February 1? Be sure you submit your registration before February 1, opt to “Pay by invoice,” and we’ll lock in your rate for 60 days, or until Friday, February 15, 2019, whichever comes first. All payments (or, at minimum, documentation of remittance from the payer) are due upon check-in at the conference.
Miss registration or unable to register prior to February 1? You’re still invited! You can register on-site at the conference for $100. We’ll do our best to make data-informed projections for on-site registration in an effort to provide materials to every attendee; unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that those materials will be available for all on-site registrants. Because of this, and to keep your cost of attendance down, we encourage you to register in advance if at all possible.
How and when can I register? Our teams and talented web developer are working hard to update our system with feedback from past registrants and organizers, and we’re looking forward to officially opening registration to all attendees the week of October 8, 2018. Attendees will be able to access registration on the mblgtacc.org homepage and at mblgtacc.org/attend. At that time, we’ll also share additional information about our etiquette for inclusion policy and how to opt-out of photo consent.
If you have any questions about accessibility, programming, lodging and transportation, or hospitality, please contact Brad Thomison, the MBLGTACC 2019 on-site advisor and Wichita State’s LGBTQ Coordinator. For general questions about MBLGTACC, including about bidding to host the conference in 2021, please contact the Midwest Institute for Sexuality and Gender Diversity.
