Bring MBLGTACC to your campus in 2020!
December 18, 2017
The opportunity to host the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference is a rewarding adventure presented to one group of student leaders in the Midwest each year. As we near the 2018 conference weekend, the Institute is seeking bids from interested colleges and universities to plan and execute the 28th annual conference in 2020!
This two year commitment requires a dedicated team of students who are ready to plan their conference vision and put in the effort to make it happen. Bringing MBLGTACC to your campus or community is an unparalleled experience and while it proudly remains a conference for students, by students, here are just a few items we offer to make your conference a reality:
- From day one, you can count on support and background from a campus relations coordinator, who we assign to be a reliable liaison between the host and the Institute throughout the conference planning process.
- You’ll have a head start on tech tools with our registration software, website and social media platforms, and customizable templates for envisioning your program.
- We’ll have your backs by providing tailored advising, specialized guidance, and invaluable resources to actualize your ideas and create space for more than 2000 queer and trans+ Midwest college students.
If you, your student group, or your college/university is interested in bringing MBLGTACC to your community, check out the criteria and bidding process. Bid forms are requested by Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Presentations will take place at MBLGTACC 2018 on Saturday, February 17.
